Four scenarios for Europe 2030

What will Europe look like in 2030? Will the Union have a top-down government or will citizens take the lead in governance? And will the process of unification proceed to the next level or will countries drift apart? Basically: what are scenarios for Europe in 2030?

Based on these last two key questions the Networking European Citizenship Education (NECE) initiative developed four scenarios for Europe during the ProDemos workshop in The Hague in the summer of 2013. De Ruijter designed and facilitated the workshop, wrote the scenario’s, scripted the film, and coordinated the production process.
